A sex coach serves as a role model for sexual health, sex-positivity, sexual empowerment and sexual success.
Chrysalis Coach shall maintain confidentiality and privileged communications with all clients. All information received about a client shall remain confidential including, but not limited to, the mere existence of a professional relationship between sex coach and the client. Chrysalis Coach shall hold a client’s communication as privileged as granted by the laws of the jurisdiction applicable to the client.
Chrysalis Coach shall divulge information received from a client or prospective client to the extent required only when the client provides written and informed consent, which indicates the nature of information to be released, knowledge of the purpose for which the information will be used, designation of the source that will receive the information, that the consent is given voluntarily and with competency, and the client’s name and the date on which the consent is given. A sex coach shall divulge information received from a client or prospective client to the extent required only when there is clear and imminent danger of bodily harm or to the life or safety of the client or another person. Such disclosure shall be made in accord with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the coaching takes place.
Chrysalis Coach keeps records relevant to the services provided to clients, to ensure quality services, and therefore has a secure system for the preservation of records with minimal contents and duration of retention being in accord with the laws that are applicable to the jurisdiction in which coaching takes place.
Chrysalis Coach shall not engage in any dual relationship, regardless of nature or circumstances, with a client or with persons who have a primary relationship with a client served by the sex coach if such dual relationship could potentially be detrimental to or jeopardize the well-being of a client. A dual relationship occurs when a sex coach is in a professional role with a person and (1) is simultaneously in another role with the same person, and/or (2) is simultaneously in a relationship with a person closely associated with or related to the person with whom the sex coach has the professional relationship, and/or (3) promises to enter into another relationship in the future with the person or a person closely associated with or related to the client.
Chrysalis Coach will terminate coaching if it is reasonably evident or should be evident that the client is not obtaining benefits sufficient to justify continued services by the sex coach. Upon termination, the sex coach shall endeavor to refer to another professional source and/or offer reasonable follow-up to further the best interests of the client.
